Genealogy Heroes offers 20 years of experience in editing and 14 in genealogical research. Founder Corey Oiesen earned her certificate in genealogical studies from Boston University in February 2010 and is currently pursuing a certificate in genealogy through Monterey Peninsula College's four-semester course taught by Karen Clifford,  AG. Corey has attended the Samford Institue of Genealogy and Historical Research, the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, and many national and regional conferences. She holds an M.B.A in international business from Georgia State University and a B.A. in international studies/French from Virginia Tech University.


Genealogy Heroes provides research for all regions of the United States and Canada, as well as English- and French-speaking regions throughout the world. We provide referrals for regions or topics outside of our area of expertise.

We also visit the Family History Library in Salt Lake City and the California State Archives regularly. We conduct much of our work through correspondance, personal contact and poring over miles of microfilm.
